Return to School Newsletter
As pupils will be returning to school, the Hounslow School Nurses team has put together a 'return to school' newsletter for schools and parents. The newsletter covers guidance and tips to support the return of secondary school pupils following the recent COVID-19 lockdown. Please take the time to review the newsletter with your child.
Notice is hereby given that the 8th Annual General Meeting of the Heston Community Academy Trust for the Academic Year ended 31 August 2019 will be held at the Academy on Thursday, 14 January 2021 at 18:00.
The Members warmly invite you to attend this meeting to hear reports on the progress of the Academy Trust from 01 September 2019 to 31 August 2020
To enable the Academy to make adequate arrangements, if you will be attending, would you please be kind enough to advise the Headteacher’s PA by 09:00 on Tuesday, 05 January 2021 by emailing info@hestoncs.org.
The School will close to students for the Christmas holiday at 12:00 on Friday 18 December. Years 11, 13 and Year 12 Level 3 BTEC students will return on Tuesday 05 January 2021. The KS3-KS4 Presentation outlines strategies to use at home for all subject areas, as well as the opportunities available at School. [20 minutes]
For KS5 students there are three presentations:
- Achieving A* at A level [15 minutes]
- Maths Skills for Life [10 minutes]
- Top Tips to getting into Russell Group universities from Ex Heston Head Boy and Investment Banker Aman Ghataura [25 minutes]
