Enrichment Week
As we launch our Enrichment Programme this week, we are delighted to share with you some of the highlights from last year's Enrichment Day and celebrate the wide range of opportunities available to our students.
Enrichment activities play a vital role in broadening young people's experiences, developing new skills, and fostering confidence beyond the classroom. We encourage all students to take full advantage of the extensive programme on offer and to participate in as many clubs and activities as they can. With clubs running both at lunchtime and after school, there are plenty of opportunities for every student to discover new interests, pursue existing passions, and make the most of their time at school.
The activities were really enjoyable because they made us work together and think creatively. The problem-solving tasks were difficult at times, but they helped us improve our communication and teamwork skills. It was a different kind of learning and one of the most fun days of the year. [ED Y9]
I had a fun day at the zoo, I've never been before and I finally got to see some giraffes in person and it was very exciting. [HK Y8]
London Zoo was amazing because we got to see animals from all over the world. The tiger and gorillas were my favourite and it was fun learning about animals with my friends. [SS Y8]
The Science Museum was fascinating because there were loads of fun things to see. My favourite part was seeing inventions have changed the world. It was a fun day and I learnt a lot without it feeling like a normal school lesson. [VF Y7]
